I have a question.

I am getting trouble to dump my database with LO
(Large Object), but exactly at restoring.

Then I ask: If I just copy the data directory from
pgsql directory, I can restore the databases just
copying this directory back from a backup?

Thanks

Eduardo

If you stop the postmaster service before copying the database directory
yes.

See http://www.postgresql.org/docs/7.4/static/backup-file.html
