Greetings,

I have built PG 7.4.3 and it starts up fine except I got:
"LOG: could not create IPv6 socket: Address family not supported by
protocol" from PG log.

What does that mean? How to fix it?

It just means you don't have IPv6 support turned on in your kernel.
There's nothing you need to fix.
