compiling postgres 64 bit

how can i compile postgres 7.x or 8.x to 64 bit?

os= solaris 8 or 9
arch= sparc
compiler = gcc 3.4.x

can somone help me?

If you installed Solaris as 64bit PostgreSQL should detect it on configure.
